Authorities have released the name of the Plains woman killed when her car rolled into a canal in Dixon Wednesday night.

Sanders County coroner Kathryn Harris says the victim is Echo Delong, 43.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports DeLong drove off an embankment on Bench Road in Dixon, skidded off the road, over-corrected and then rolled into the irrigation canal.

Troopers say DeLong wasn't wearing her seat belt and may have been driving too fast.
