HELENA - State lottery officials have released the location where the grand prize winning ticket in the annual Montana Millionaire lottery game was sold.
The lucky winner bought the $1 million winning numbers at Mikes of Columbia Falls. Meanwhile, the $100,000 winning tickets were sold at 3G's Convenience Store in Billings and the Tip It Bar in Havre.
The lottery also announced that winning tickets worth $10,000 were sold in Bozeman, Helena and Sidney.
Lottery officials advise that the winners should sign the back of their ticket immediately to establish ownership.
Officials opted to have the drawing on Tuesday, instead of on Jan. 1 because of record-setting sales.
Montana Millionaire sales began Nov. 1 with 130,000 tickets available; each ticket cost $20.
