MISSOULA- Verizon Wireless customers may have recently noticed better service, especially in the west Missoula Valley.

That's because Verizon recently put in a new cell sites in Missoula, Hamilton, Polson, and Billings. All total, the company has invested more than $250 million to make service faster in the state.

The new cell sights are furthering their efforts. Verizon recently launched its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless services in 74 metropolitan areas across the US, adding a total of 139 new markets during 2011, covering two thirds of all Americans by the end of the year.
