MISSOULA - Vandals left behind another path of destruction at Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish in the eighth Missoula-area church break-in in less than a month.
The suspects went through cupboards, drawers, broke into locked file cabinets and threw knives into the ceiling.
"Seems like somebody just wanted to come in and just have a time throwing things around and destroying things," says Father Ed Hislop. He said papers were strewn everywhere and the kitchen and offices were damaged.
One room was filed with presents wrapped and ready to be given to the families and now the church has to figure out what's missing and what needs to be re-wrapped.
"A lot of things that had been in preparation for Christmas, which had just been recovered from the last break-in--those were all ripped apart," Hislop said.
People working at this church just finished cleaning up from last week's vandalism and when the staff walked into the building Wednesday morning, they braced for another long day of cleaning for the third time in a month.
