James Kiser has been named as the new Chief Executive of St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson, and will be taking his position immediately.
Kiser is coming to Polson after most recently serving at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
"James brings exceptional leadership to the organization with his more than 20 years of healthcare administration, and we are excited about the level of commitment and stability he brings to both St. Joe's and the community of Polson," said Jeff Fee, CEO of Providence Health & Services Western Montana Service Area and President of St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center.
"Our experience with James has been very positive" stated Dr. William W. Beck in a press release. "He cares about our patients, is invested in the community, and views this as a long term commitment for him and his family. We are impressed by the caliber of leadership and future he brings to Polson."
Kiser James is no stranger to rural Montana healthcare or the Sisters of Providence and says that, "I'm very excited about joining the ministry of St. Joes. All those that I've met, are excited about all the potential this organization has. The staffs, physicians, board and community, all have an optimism that is contagious. I'm looking forward to helping the team realize ‘the good that is yet to be'."
James will be joined by his wife, Lorie, in Polson where they plan to live full time.
