MISSOULA - Sunday featured a race that was all about endurance as skiers barreled down Snowbowl for the annual Vertical Challenge event, and whoever put in the most feet from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. won!

Erin Williams and Emily Walter teamed up and came out on top in the female category, putting in a total of 48,000 feet and took first place. And as far as the men, Adam Tutskey and Peter Maxwell combined powers for 52,000 vertical feet.

Distance aside, the event raised $1,000 for the Missoula Food Bank.
