PABLO- Salish Kootenai College officials were hoping to start major renovations on student housing over the Christmas break after this summer's major flooding event caused water damage.
But only two contractors are tackling the project, making progress slow while also creating more renovations.
Workers spent last week sealing cracks in the basement of the IT Building, where ground water pushed up through the cracks and rose about a foot.
There is some good news to report with SKC officials saying they believe that at least two student housing units should be ready to open by the time school starts again later this week.
