KALISPELL- The Event at Rebecca Farm is coming in July and crews are hard at work already.
Course builder for The Event at Rebecca Farm, Burt Wood, says this year's event is one you shouldn't miss.
"If you've never been out to The Event at Rebecca Farm, well you're missing out. And this year, might be the best year to come check out the festivities. Crews are already hard at work piecing the event together, but this year there's a special twist. A Wild West Twist."
Wood says this year he is building a wild west town for The Event which competitors will run their horses through.
"We're gonna lay it out in a town and they're gonna do various things in each division through the town and it's gonna be pretty cool."
Wood says the final jump will send riders right through the front door of an old fashioned saloon.
"The gate slides up and down, so where all the upper level divisions go through it instead of just one, and it's kind of at the end of the town, and boom, up through it and up over the mounds."
Wood told us The Event is a one of a kind happening.
"There's just so much neat stuff out here to look at, you know this is....I'm not trying to be arrogant, but this is the best course in the country. As far as what the organizers are willing to put into it. You can't build stuff like this anywhere else."
