FRENCHTOWN- Bob Henderson's "mad" scientists are now "very pleased" after receiving $250 for their classroom.

Aaron Bay with Allegiance Benefit Plan Management recently presented the check to the Frenchtown High School science teacher.

The One Class at a Time grant from Allegiance and Montana's News Station is going toward purchasing water testing kits for their water ecology tests.

Henderson says science supplies are getting much more expensive, but high school labs are invaluable for a student's future.

"It's a great basis to carry into the upper education. To give them a hands on experience here and with some of the equipment they could be using in college," Henderson explained.
