CONDON- Fire officials are dealing with a new wildfire that's burned around 300 acres 35 miles southeast of Condon.
The lightning-sparked Bar Creek Fire was first spotted late Tuesday, July 31st ans was just 1/10th of an acre. But, the blaze has grown to 300 acres as it burns to north and east in dead lodgepole pine stands.
Fire officials say they are wrapping the Danaher and Basin administrative cabins to protect them from the fire.
The Bar Creek Trail #140 has been closed from the end of Bar Meadows to Observation Point due to the blaze.
