MISSOULA - The University Dining Services of Montana says it has something new on its menu - and it's not food, it's a complete overhaul of its branding.
The University of Montana program launched its new logo and branding on Thursday afternoon, and the dining services will now be known as UM Dining.
UM officials say there were too many logos for all of their operations, which range from dining halls to catering.
UM Dining Director Mark Loparco says the new unveiled logos were also designed to have a more clean, modern, and consistent theme.
"Now we're bringing everything under one umbrella and there's going to be a look and feel that when somebody looks at one of our operations, they'll know it's part of UM Dining," he explained.
Staff uniforms and menu changes were also part of the change. University officials say the last time they adopted similar changes was over 20 years ago.
