POLSON - A new assisted living facility has opened in Lake County with the Pines of Polson offering up assisted living opportunities for older folks.
Owners Larry and Ilene Arbaugh say they have a capacity for 12 people and they currently have seven residents living at the facility. The home also employees six full-time employees and three part-time employees.
Ilene has over 40 years of experience in the medical community and she says there is a real need for quality facilities for older folks in northwest Montana and they hope to provide that.
"There is a huge need. I think we're going to see this more and more because as we live to be older, there's more older adults out there that need a place to go and live."
Pines of Polson is on Facebook where you can learn more about their facility and staff.
