MISSOULA- Some 170 musicians performed to a sold out crowd at Sunday afternoon's Missoula Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Pops concert and this time around, audience members were able to choose the encore song at the end of the evening.
The song that raised the most money was played at the concert. The audience chose the Hallelujah Chorus on Saturday while the other choice was White Christmas.
Over $2,300 was raised Saturday night, in an event the music director called "very high energy".
"It's a great energy event, like I said, on stage. It's very exciting to be here and I get to crack some corny jokes...people seem to like them," Missoula Symphony Orchestra director Darko Butorac told us.
