LONDON - Missoula native Sam Schultz finally got his opportunity to take to the world's biggest stage Sunday as the 26-year-old finished 15th in the Olympic mountain bike competition.

U.S. teammate Todd Wells finished 10th as he and Schultz combined to post the best ever finish for the United States in the event.

Schultz's overall time of 1:32:29 was 3:22 behind the gold medalist winner Jaroslav Kulhavy from the Czech Republic.
