Missoula man's sausages going international

MISSOULA - A local man who is well known for his big smile and gourmet sausages has expanded his business internationally.

Uncle Bill's Sausages will be distributed in all major grocery stores across the country of Thailand starting later this month.

Company owner Bill Stoianaff says he's been cooking sausage for over 25 years, and his dreams have finally become a reality.

Stoianaff says he found out through email on Monday that his license to distribute in Thailand was approved.

"I did a double back flip, screamed at the top of my lungs...that's how it's been. It's just better than good, what more could you ask? You dream dreams, it's nice when they come true," he told us.

Stoianaff says he also gives credit to his business partner Kim, for recognizing a niche market in Thailand which has a lot of German consumers.

Stoianaff added that starting Monday, his sausage will be available to over 64 million people, and he's looking forward to seeing which one of his six sausages sell most throughout the year.
