BROWNING - Authorities have still not identified the Missoula man who was killed in a Friday morning accident.
The Montana Highway reports that a 52-year-old man from Missoula was heading eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 near Browning just before 1 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a turn at U.S.Highway 89.
The 1985 Chevy Blazer traveled across three lanes of traffic and rolled over several times before finally coming to rest back on its wheels.
The victim was taken to the Indian Health Service Hospital in Browning where he was pronounced dead.
Speed and alcohol both played a role in the crash and MHP Trooper Terrance Melton says the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
