MISSOULA -The Missoula Aging Services and The Missoula Food Bank's Big Rollout Event is nearly at the end of it's roll.

The second annual toilet paper drive could use a little more padding after its first official week of donations.

Community Outreach Coordinator Dean Thompson says they can barely keep toilet paper in stock and they hope to receive more community donations before the drive comes to a end on September 11th.

Missoula Aging Services instigated the drive as part of President Obama's United We Serve Volunteer Action Program.

Thompson says although the Food Bank focuses on feeding the community, there are also other needs they have to fill.

"Toilet paper is obviously a needed item for people in their homes. Our mission here is food, but we find people come in here for non-food items, diapers, toilet paper, toiletries, like shampoo and soaps. And those are much needed items as well," she explained.

Donations are gladly accepted at the Missoula Food Bank during weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. They are also accepted at The Missoula Aging Services on weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thompson says they received 4,000 rolls of toilet paper last year and they hope to receive between 5,000 and 6,000 rolls this year.
