BILLINGS- An American Cancer Society estimate shows that more than 5,500 Montanans will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in 2012.
That estimate represents an overall growth in the spread of cancer, a disease the American Cancer Society said likely has touched you or someone you know directly.
For Leon Wieder, 21, of Arlee, that person was his aunt, who struggled for nine years in a battle with cancer.
After her death in 2010, Wieder dedicated himself to a unique project that raises awareness and money to fight deadly disease.
