SALMON, ID- A 26-year-old Idaho man was killed near Salmon Thursday afternoon when his car went off the highway and rolled several times after hitting a rocky bank.
Idaho State Police report the crashed happened around 5 p.m. on U.S. Highway 93 just outside Salmon in Lemhi County.
Troopers say Garrett Nicolson was driving south in his 2001 Hyundai when he went off the right side of the highway, striking the rocks and the car rolling over multiple times.
ISP says Nicolson wasn't wearing his seat belt and was thrown clear from the wreck. He was taken to Steele Memorial Medical Center in Salmon where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the crash.
