MISSOULA- A man with previous convictions for prostitution is charged in Missoula for running a prostitution business at a local hotel.
36-year-old Clifton Ray Dwayne Oliver was arrested Thursday and appeared in Justice court Friday afternoon for felony charge of promoting prostitution.
In court documents, an employee at the StayBridge Suites on Expressway told Missoula police Oliver had checked in 11 times since October 11th.
She said Oliver had confronted at least one male guest at the hotel with an offer of sex.
She said Oliver had two girls with him and always paid cash.
Thursday, an undercover Missoula police officer met with Alida Lattimore, who told him sex with her would cost $250.
Police arrested her as well as Oliver.
Lattimore was charged with misdemeanor prostitution and is out of jail.
Oliver is being held on $250,000 bail in the Missoula County Detention Facility.
Promoting prostitution carries a penalty of up to 10 years in prison, and/or a $50,000 fine.
The case remains under investigation.
