WHITEFISH- The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is one of only two Montana facilities to receive AAA's highest designation for hotels and restaurants.

The travel authority announced the Lodge at Whitefish Lake in Whitefish earned the Four Diamond award.

AAA Spokesperson Tara Hanley says four and five diamond-rated hotels and restaurants are committed to providing every guest with a high level of personalized service in comfortable, luxurious surroundings.

She goes on to say that "to achieve and maintain this level of hospitality is a significant accomplishment".

Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in Emigrant also earned the award from AAA.
