An independent healthcare ratings organization has named KRMC among the top five percent of hospitals in the country for clinical performance.

HealthGrades judges hospitals in 26 areas of diagnosis and procedure. Benefis Health System in Great Falls also earned the distinguished title.

HealthGrades bills itself on its website as an "independent source of physician information and hospital quality outcomes".

The company is based in Denver and was founded in 1999.
