KALISPELL- Vandals are once again making the rounds in Kalispell with police reporting that around 30 vehicles have been broken into over the last couple of days.

Lieutenant Wade Rademacher says that several thousands of dollars of property has been stolen in the latest round of thefts.

Rademacher says in a news release that police are seeing an "increasing trend of windows being smashed to grab items that are left in plain sight".

The bulk of the thefts are happening in residential areas at night as well as in business districts during the day according to police.

Residents are being asked to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and contact police immediately if anything unusual is noticed.

A similiar rash of vehicle break-ins was reported back in October.

Police are once again advising residents to lock their car doors and to take all of their valuables out of their vehicles.
