KALISPELL- Montana's Office of Public Instruction has recognized Cornelius Hedges Elementary School in Kalispell for their achievements in closing the achievement gap and high academic achievement.
Title I funds are used to provide additional academic support and learning opportunities to help economically disadvantaged children master challenging curriculum and meet state standards in core academic subjects.
The mission at Hedges School is "Learning For All....No Excuses, No Limits" and school officials say the award can't be pinned to one area, but rather a combination of factors and focus areas that have helped the Hedges learning community reach exceptional levels of student achievement over time.
