KALISPELL- Students from Edgerton Elementary School got the chance on Friday to hook a monster trout as part of the Hooked on Fishing program.
John Fraley with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks said hooked on fishing is a program that gives kids the chance to learn about biology, and the joys of fishing.
They did their fall fishing trip at the pond behind Snappy's Sports Senter. Fourth grade students from Edgerton were able to catch huge trout from the stocked pond and learned about releasing them as well.
