WEST YELLOWSTONE - A West Yellowstone woman was rescued after crashing her snowmobile over the weekend.
The West Yellowstone Police Department received a report of an injured snowmobiler in the area of Reas Pass south of West Yellowstone Sunday, according to a news release from the Gallatin County Sheriff's Department.
A West Yellowstone woman lost control on a corner and crashed her snowmobile. She was reportedly complaining of back and arm pain.
Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue personnel and Hebgen Basin Fire District medical personnel responded to the scene.
The woman was packaged into a rescue sled and transported to West Yellowstone and then was taken by ambulance to Rexburg, Idaho with a possible broken arm.
