HAMILTON- A Hamilton woman suffered broken bones when her horse rolled on top of her Saturday afternoon.
Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman said the 42-year-old woman was riding her horse on Coyote Coulee Trail, about two miles up the Lost Horse drainage, when her horse fell and rolled on top of her.
Hoffman said the victims injuries did not appear to be life threatening and she was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance. He added that the horse appears to be okay.
The Ravalli County Sheriff's Office, Search and Rescue, the Hamilton Fire Department and a Darby ambulance all responded to the scene.
