WEST YELLOWSTONE- Grizzly bear experts are recommending a tent camping ban at three campgrounds near Yellowstone National Park, including at a campground where a bear mauled a Michigan man to death last summer.

Campers can only use hard-sided recreational vehicles at the Soda Butte, Colter and Chief Joseph campgrounds just east of Cooke City. Those are areas are where bears like to be.

The new rules follow the death of 48-year-old Kevin Kammer of Grand Rapids at the Soda Butte campground last summer.
