HELENA- Whether you run for fun or the sake of competition, the Governor's Cup always brings out plenty of participants, and one of those who knows the race all too well is Michael Frank, the president and CEO of Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Montana.
Frank has been participating in the cup since 1990 and tell us, "The thing that I enjoy is just seeing everybody come out from Helena and all over the state, you know we get close to 3,000 participants per year. It is just wonderful to see everybody out involved in some type of activity."
One thing that the event focuses on is family, and for Frank, "family" means that everyone, big or small, can participate.
"We have been out in the past from the time that they were in strollers pushing them on a relay team with a bunch of different guys and they have run some on their own; we just get families from all over the state that come and do it, kids of all ages that love to come and do it and it is a great family event," Frank said.
The event will be held on Saturday, June 9th. Click here for more information.
