KALISPELL- A Kalispell man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for several felony charges including attempting to escape from court and assaulting a peace officer in the process.
Jonathan Graves, 24, is accused of breaking into a home near Essex and stealing the resident's property.
Back December he made an initial appearance in justice court and attempted to flee the court room, pushing over a Flathead County jailer in the process.
The man hit his head and was knocked unconscious as a result of the attempted escape.
Graves will be eligible for parole in three years if he completes chemical dependency and mental health treatment.
