Erin joined Montana's News Station in June 2010 after working at Beartooth NBC in Helena as the Chief Forecaster for more than 2½ years.

Being a Minnesota native, Erin loves snow - but had nowhere to ski! So, while visiting a friend in Missoula back in 2003, she decided Montana would be the next place she'd call home!

At the University of Montana she majored in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Communications. Erin earned two Regional Student Emmys for her contribution to her school's Montana PBS newspiece (Business: Made In Montana) and college news program (UM News). The student documentary ("Beyond The Myths: Growing Up In Montana") she worked with her classmates won "Best Student Longform Documentary" in the country from the Broadcast Education Association as well. Erin was also nominated in 2008 for Montana's "Weathercaster of the Year" by the Montana Broadcasters Association and was awarded the same title in 2009. As of now, Erin is persuing her broadcast meteorology degree with Mississippi State University.

Erin loves to ski and anything to do with winter... anything to do with the great outdoors for that matter! She also likes to play with her pups, Knut and Bear, and trying to keep her cat, Mesa, out of the middle of them!
