BOZEMAN - The wares of the wealthy are on the auction block as items from Edra Blixseth's personal estate go up for sale.

Montana's News Station got an exclusive look from Burns Auctions and Appraisals at what's available for bid online.

The list includes a Parisian king-sized bed frame, chairs made from elephant skin and several pieces of Aboriginal art. Organizers estimate that a rare African statue made entirely of glass beads is several decades old and worth at least $30,000.

A total of 479 are for sale and all come from the former Blixseth family compound inside the Yellowstone Club. The property is being liquidated by Denver-based Western Capital Partners, LLC, in an attempt to re-coup some of the $13 million it loaned to Edra Blixseth and her son Matthew Crocker in 2008.

The company sued the two after they defaulted on the loan. In addition to the sale of these personal items, the creditors have sold off a condo in Seattle that belonged to Blixseth and Crocker's condo in Bozeman.

CEO Jeff Adams hopes to make around $200,000 back from the auction. "They did everything to the very highest level, so the goods look like they've virtually not been used and are in virtually perfect condition. We have it under testimony that she was spending $2 million a month on stuff," said Adams.

Adams estimates Western Capital Partners will lose around $7 million in the end. He also said the company has spent more than half a million dollars in legal fees over the past year and a half.

The auction of Blixseth's personal items is happening online only and ends May 2. To view the sale or make a bid click here.
