MISSOULA - Donations are arriving at AniMeals as it responds to one of its biggest hunger emergencies ever.
The organization received a call on Wednesday from an area animal sanctuary, saying that it could not longer feed over 1,000 large animals - from cows to horses, donkeys, llamas and camels.
Quality Supply in Missoula then offered up a 5% discount on any feed purchased for Animeals and also donated a truck load of feed and hay.
AniMeals will have a semi-truck parked at its Missoula warehouse on Rankin Street for three days, starting on Saturday, and needs donations like hay, oats, livestock feed and money.
