WHITEFISH- Snow fell every day for the last two weeks at Whitefish Mountain Resort so the ski patrol is hard at work controlling avalanches.
Patrol members spent Monday working on the East Rim, First Creek and Hellroaring Basin in an effort to prevent any slides.
There are posted closures and ropes in those areas in hopes that skiers and snowboarders will respect the boundaries.
Resort officials report that 31" of snow has fallen on the mountain in the last week, including 9" in the last 36 hours.
