KALISPELL- A Columbia Falls man is facing three felonies after January car crash. Sean Francisco West, 27, pleaded not guilty to all charges after he allegedly left the scene of an accident.
Court documents say on Jan. 19, West drove his SUV through a red light at the intersection of Reserve and Highway 2 and hit a car carrying three people. One man was ejected 60 feet.
A witness told Montana Highway Patrol troopers that she saw West running away from the SUV. West later called dispatch and admitted he was driving the vehicle and said he drank six to eight beers before the accident.
The trooper took a breath test from West about four hours after the incident that registered as .143, nearly twice the legal limit.
