KALISPELL- A man who is accused of burglarizing the North Ashley Lake Road home will now have a jury decide his fate.

Nathan Bayreuther, 23, of Kalispell has been charged with Felony Burglary with prosecutors alleging that he broke into the home with Brandon Stanfield and made off with several guns.

Bayreuther had previously pleaded not guilty for his role in the crime but during a Thursday appearance in Flathead County District Court, Bayreuther's defense attorney stated his client has decided to take the case to trial.

Prosecutors say they believe both Ashley Ekern and Nathan Bayreuther were part of a larger burglary ring whose members stole high-end items for others, who would then sell or pawn the goods for money to buy drugs.

Bayreuther is set to head to trial sometime in June.
