C. Falls schools tap new superintendent

COLUMBIA FALLS - The Columbia Falls School District board of trustees has chosen a candidate to fill the position of superintendent. Steven Bradshaw was selected from three finalists. Bradshaw and the board are now in the process of contract negotiations.

For the last 13 years, Bradshaw has been the superintendent of a similar-sized school district in Alaska.

However, he taught in Red Lodge and Harding before making the move to Alaska. Bradshaw said he chose to come back to Montana because his wife is originally from the state.

Current superintendent Michael Nicosia will be retiring at the end of the current school year.
