GEORGIA- A Butte man is heading to London for this year's Olympics. In the proud tradition of Montana sharp shooters, Nick Mowrer qualified over the weekend for the U.S. Olympic team in the 50-meter free pistol shooting event.

Mowrer said it feels great. "I guess it truly hasn't really set in yet," he said. "It's nice to know that after all that hard work, sometimes tyou get things back out of it."

Mowrer finished second in the Olympic trials in Ft. Benning, Georgia.

The 2012 Olympics start July 27.
