MISSOULA- Drivers whose plans include traveling across the busy Higgins Avenue Bridge might want to consider an alternate route to start the work week.

Expect lane closures on the bridge southbound starting Monday at 7:00 a.m. that will continue on Tuesday as the northbound lanes are shut down for bridge inspections.

Closures will also take place throughout the day on Wednesday, but the inspection should be done by Thursday morning according to the Montana Department of Transportation.
