KALISPELL- The U.S. Border Patrol and Kalispell Chamber of Commerce have been communicating to each other about Canadian traffic coming to the area.
The chamber has been letting Border Patrol know when Canadians are expected to come through the border and down to the valley based off advanced hotel reservations.
During the Thanksgiving holiday traffic through the border was steady as Canadians came down to the valley to stay for the weekend. The Kalispell Chamber says that weekend Hotel rooms were sold out, and were busier than last year.
They're hoping for the same to happen over the Christmas and New Year's holiday.
