Blackfoot Challenge picks up grant

OVANDO - A $58,000 donation will fund drought response programs and irrigation in the Blackfoot Watershed.

The Ovando-based nonprofit Blackfoot Challenge was awarded the money by the Coca-Cola Foundation.

The Blackfoot Drought Response Program and Irrigation Efficiency Program will benefit from the donation.

The Blackfoot Challenge conserves and enhances natural resources and rural way of life in the Blackfoot Watershed.

The Coca-Cola Foundation uses water in their beverages that come from the watershed.
