MISSOULA- A man pleaded guilty to federal drug charges on Monday after being accused of selling a marijuana growing facility to Big Sky Health dispensary owner Jason Washington.
Steven Sann is facing a "conspiracy to maintain a drug involved premises"charge.
Prosecutors say Washington, who is a Missoula business owner, had a marijuana growing facility near the Wye outside Missoula. Sann was the original owner of that facility, and he sold it to Washington for about $300,000.
Prosecutors say the facility had between 1,000 to 1,200 marijuana plants, and Washington sold the product from those plants through Big Sky Health. Washington is accused of selling the drug to patients and to people who didn't have a medical marijuana card.
Sann's sentencing is schedule for January. Washington and his accountant maintain their innocence in this case.
