4 hurt in Malmstrom Humvee rollover

AUGUSTA - A military Humvee rollover Thursday morning injured four people, at least one seriously.

Two Humvees from Malmstrom Air Force Base were heading west toward Augusta at around 10:30 a.m. when the lead vehicle rolled.

We're told that three of the people in the vehicle suffered injuries that are not life-threatening. All three were taken to Benefis hospital via ambulance.

The fourth person, who was airlifted from the crash site to Benefis hospital via Mercy Flight helicopter, sustained possible neck and back injuries.

We're told that the crash scene, located about five miles east of Augusta, has been secured, and that there are no explosives or hazardous materials.

Authorities do not yet know what caused the rollover, and are continuing to investigate.
