FRENCHTOWN- The Montana Highway Patrol reports a Cut Bank man is dead and a Missoula man is in the hospital after a Sunday night rollover on Interstate 90 near Frenchtown.

Montana Highway Patrol dispatchers said the crash happened just after 11 p.m. near mile marker 93.

A 21-year-old man was heading east when he lost control on a curve and over-corrected, causing his car to roll over and end up on its roof in the west bound lanes.

A 22-year-old Cut Bank man died on the scene. The driver was thrown from the car and was taken to the hospital.

MHP reports speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

The Missoula County Sheriff's Office says the two men also tried to break into a Frenchtown firework stand that same night.

The victim's name is not being released at this time.
