PHILIPSBURG - Crews are continuing to gain ground on the Rumsey Gulch Fire that's burning just outside of Philipsburg.

PHILIPSBURG - A fallen tree that struck a power line is being blamed for a fire that consumed five homes near Philipsburg this week.

HELENA - Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton tells us that one person is in custody in connection with the fires that are burning northeast of Helena.
Sheriff Dutton has not yet released the person's name, or indicated what charges the person may be facing.

WISE RIVER - A wildfire that gave Wise River residents a run for their money has calmed down.
